Tokai University Educational System & International Budo University

Sensei Toshiaki Hashimoto  representing Tokai University Educational System, along with Sensei Teruyoshi Yamaguchi and Sensei Yumi Asaka.  Visited Toronto accompanied by Sensei Katsuhiko Kashiwazaki.  The purpose of the visit was the following.
Tokai University Educational System and Royal St. George's College undertook entering into a official friendship agreement between the two educational institutions.  Over the past 15 years approximately 100 students of Royal St. George's College, have visited Japan to experience Japanese Culture, study judo, and even two school band tours.  A friendship forged on the mats and in the class rooms, will now begin the next leg of their shared journey.

Kashiwazaki Sensei represented the International Budo University where he is the Head of the 1year Budo Specialization Course.  Kashiwazaki Sensei interviewed recent Royal St. George's College grad student Zach Ringwood.  Zach is applying for entry into IBU for March 2015 and looks very promising for his acceptance.  Kashiwazaki sensei will continue to recruit in Canada for potential candidates for this program.

In  addition to the official meetings with Royal St. George's college and the signing ceremony of the two institutions, the sensei
shared their skill and wisdom in a very friendly gathering of 8 Ontario judo clubs, including the host clubs Royal St. George's College JC and Annex Judo Academy, over two days that brought together over 100 judoka of all ages and levels of skill.
